Precision Is Personal
Rhys Blair has spent the last two decades making sure other people’s instruments read true. As a temperature calibration engineer, he has personally overseen thousands of IANZ endorsed calibrations for food plants, research labs and heavy industry, earning a reputation for “no-nonsense accuracy first time” among engineers nationwide.
Why launch a new brand?
After 20-plus years behind the calibration bench Rhys saw the same pattern: many thermometers were simply not built for New Zealand conditions. Probes failed the first full wash-down, accuracy drifted long before the next audit. So in 2025 he created Accutherm to close that gap—delivering instruments that hold their tolerance and survive real-world knocks, straight out of the box.
